I rise pursuant to Standing Order No.56(1)(b) of the Senate Standing Orders to make a statement relating to the Standing Committee on Delegated Legislation for the Period, 1st April 2024 to 30th August 2024. During the period under reference, the Committee held a total of 41 sittings at which it considered various statutory instruments and held stakeholder engagements.
