    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I wish to move the Motion on the reports of the Kenya delegation to the 147th and 148th Assemblies of the International- Parliamentary Union (IPU) and related meetings that were held in Luanda, Angola from 23rd to 27th October, 2023 and in Geneva, Switzerland from 23rd to 27th March, 2024. I beg to move- THAT, the Senate notes the reports of the Kenya delegation to the 147th and 148th Assemblies of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and related meetings in Luanda and the one in Geneva. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, key to note is that the Kenyan delegation is represented in five committees by different members, including Hon. John Kiarie, who is in the Committee to promote respect for international humanitarian law. We have Hon. Naisula Lesuuda, Member of the Committee on Sustainable Development. We have Hon.
