Therefore, I may have been talking about my own tribe for that matter. The real challenge here is that the Government should not listen to a small section of hon. Members who because of fear for their personal glory and their political career, think that the Government should not act like a Government. I remember that a few months ago, when the Prime Minister stood out very strongly on matters of Mau. The President also did the same. However, they became weak at the knees since they thought either their political careers or the careers of their friends in their political parties were threatened; they stopped moving forward. We want to encourage them. I know the person Mr. Ruto removed from Parliament, Mr. John Koech. Mr. John Koech was very powerful on the issue of Mau Forest. He knew that it was important for us to preserve the Mau Forest. Do you not think that having removed Mr. John Koech because of the expediency of the moment, your time will also not also come? We want, as Mr. John Koech is resting at home, as your time to also rest at home reaches, we leave this country for our children so that they can benefit from the greater good of it. I want to challenge the Government on that. We do not want to hear that the Government is going to settle those people. The people who live in the Mau Forest today are not the culprits. They are the victims. Corrupt politicians in the Moi regime and some in the Kibaki regime, in the 9th Parliament, are the ones who sold those parcels of land to those people.
