I beg to move- THAT, Clause 11 of the Bill be amended by inserting the following new paragraphs immediately after paragraph (c)— (ca) counselling services for pregnant women who intend or are considering not carrying their pregnancies to term; (cb) post abortion health care services; Madam Temporary Chairperson, the import of this amendment is that after a woman has gone through an abortion, it is usually very traumatic, therefore, they require both medical and social care. (cc) counselling services for adolescents undergoing postpartum care to encourage them to maintain and care for their children."
