I beg to move- THAT Clause 14 of the Bill be amended in paragraph (h) by inserting the words “and traditional” immediately after the words “programmes for skilled”; The importance of this is that it should not be lost to Kenyans that a high percentage of women in the rural areas attend a high percentage of our births. Therefore, when you have programmes for the skilled, you should always remember that you must have similar services, simultaneously for the traditional birth attendants."
