"content": "For how long are we going to continue defending parochial issues and trying to make politics out of them instead of decisively making a decision? If we want to settle them, then we do it immediately. We always see the Minister for Wildlife and Forestry talking about action that he is going to take. When are you going to take that action? The Minister for Environment and Mineral Resources is cleaning Nairobi River. That can wait! Cleaning the river is important but that is not the most urgent environmental issue that this country needs to face. Go near the Mau and you will see the pastoralists who survive from the waters of Mau. They cannot survive now. You will pity them. But somebody wants only his community to be taken care of against the interests of the entire country and you also expect this House to support you on that."
