"content": "So, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, we should start right away removing people from Mau Forest and all other water catchment areas because we cannot complain on one hand that we have famine; we have no food to feed our people and then, on the other hand, we refuse to follow the guidelines to restore our forests and water catchment areas. Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to say that, for sure, it is only those who do not want to see who say that the Government has failed the people or it has not done anything. We have seen Ministers go there to see how best they can solve the problem. I urge the leadership in that area to support those efforts. As leaders, we should stop looking at this matter with tribal eyes or with âmeâ eyes. We should look at it with national eyes so that we can reinstate our nation, feed our people, reduce diseases and deliver ourselves from extinction."
