"content": "Hon. Rigathi told Kenyans on national television that this property is still owned by the family and therefore it is still part of the estate. Keith Ikinu and Kevin Gachagua, his sons, were not joint will executors of Nderitu Gachagua’s estate. The owners who are listed here are Keith Ikinu Rigathi, Kevin Gachagua Rigathi and the estate of the deceased James Nderitu Gachagua. It is a rather ingenious way of trying to hide behind the estate of his late brother. How shameful would it be that the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya would hide behind the veil of the estate of his late brother to disguise what is outright proceeds of crime? He is the purchaser of this property and that is why his two sons are listed as directors and shareholders of Vipingo Beach Resort. Yet he was on national television telling Kenyans that this is the property that belongs to the family and they have decided to keep it. This is a House of records and it is good we gave the Hon. Rigathi Gachagua an opportunity to be heard so that we can expose his lies in broad daylight."
