    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to agree with the hon. Member and that is why we have sought, so many times, to have this Parliament and the Government as a whole, give us a bigger allocation. For example, last year, we had asked for Kshs7 billion and we were given something around Kshs2 billion, despite the fact that, outside the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), the Ministry of Lands collects more money than any other Ministry. We were only able to get Kshs2 billion with which to carry out all the programmes under the Ministry of Lands. Therefore, this is an issue that, I think, the hon. Members raised during the last debate during the current financial year and specifically the point that hon. Imanyara is talking about. I have used those very same reasons to try and convince the Treasury that we deserve a bigger chunk of the cake when the money is allocated."
