    "content": "Finally, I wish to express my appreciation to the Committee secretariat for their patience, sacrifice, endurance and commitment to the assignment, which enabled the Committee to complete the task within the stipulated period. A mediation committee has a latitude of only 30 days. There are consequences if it extends beyond 30 days. I wish to acknowledge my colleagues, led by the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Agriculture and Livestock, Dr Mutunga. I appreciate you and thank you for your input. I appreciate Hon. Justice Kemei, Hon. Nabii Nabwera, Hon. John Makali, Hon. Peter Masara and Hon. Peter Owino, who accompanied me on the Mediation Committee. I also wish to thank our colleagues in the Senate led by the Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Hon. Murango, and the entire team.
