    "content": " I would like us to make progress. Senior Counsel has raised an important matter, which has been responded to by the Counsel for the National Assembly. Hon. Senators, there is an affidavit sworn by one Njomo Muchira, who had been listed to appear as a witness, for and on behalf of the National Assembly. The National Assembly has closed its case without calling that particular witness, yet there is an affidavit that the Counsel for the Deputy President will not have an opportunity to cross- examine. The question, as you retire at the end of this hearing, is to look at the probative value of that particular document. Senior Counsel, Hon.Paul Muite, your point is valid. The Senators have noted."
