(a) I am aware of limited and isolated cases of insecurity along Gigil-Nyahururu Road; in which cases the police have managed very well to curb and deal with these cases effectively. (b) Police officers drawn from both the Rift Valley and Central provinces have increased patrols along the road in question. The area is now safe for road users."
