    "content": "Hon. Speaker, it is against this background that I request for a statement from the Chairman of the Departmental Committee on Administration and Internal Security on the following: 1. A report on the status of progress towards the re-opening of the Hilo Gold Mine. 2. Actions that are being taken by the Ministry of Interior and Administration of National Government to facilitate the re-opening of the Hilo Gold Mine along with the implementation of necessary administrative and security structures to safeguard the lives, property and the welfare of the local community. 3. Efforts to ensure that the co-operatives that the residents established are recognised as the legitimate artisanal miners. Thank you, Hon. Speaker."
