I would like to continue thanking your office for the support through the Secretariat and also our colleagues in the National Assembly on this mediation version of the Sugar Bill of 2024. I would like to assure farmers, especially our sugarcane-growing farmers from Migori, Kwale, Nandi, Kericho, Kakamega, Busia, Kisumu counties, and wherever they are, including Trans Nzoia County, that this is a farmer’s best interest mediation version of the Bill, on the Sugar Bill.
