I want to request a statement on the killing of Mr. Edward Kairo by an officer of the Anti-Stock Theft Unit (ASTU) of the Administration Police Service at Ilmolelian sub-location in Narok County. Mr. Speaker, Sir, pursuant to Standing Order No.53, I rise to seek a statement from the Standing Committee on National Security, Defence and Foreign Relations regarding the killing of one Mr. Edward Kairo, a Form 3 student at Larmudiac High School by Inspector George Rukunga, the Officer- in-Charge at the Kiramba ASTU Camp at Ilmolelian sub-location in Narok County on the 28th of October, 2024.
