Temporary Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 80 of the Bill be amended— (a) in subclause (1) by— (i) deleting the word “article” wherever it appears and substituting therefor the words “health product or technology”; and, (ii) inserting the words “or any other vessel” immediately after the word “vehicle” appearing in paragraph (b). (b) in subclause (6) by deleting the word “article” and substituting therefor the words “health product or technology”; (c) in subclause (7) by deleting the word “article” wherever it appears and substituting therefor the words “health product or technology”; (d) in subclause (8) by deleting the word “article” wherever it appears and substituting therefor the words “health product or technology”; (e) in subclause (9) by deleting the word “article” wherever it appears and substituting therefor the words “health product or technology”; (f) in subclause (10) by deleting the word “article” wherever it appears and substituting therefor the words “health product or technology”; (g) in subclause (11) by deleting the word “article” and substituting therefor the words “health product or technology”; (h) in subclause (12) by deleting the word “article” and substituting therefor the words “health product or technology”. The amendment seeks to harmonise the terms used in the Bill with the Title of the Bill as proposed for amendment. This is to expand the scope of the Bill to include all other means of conveying health products and technologies."
