    "content": "(a) First of all, allow me to clarify that land set aside for road reserves is for the public good. My Ministry will not allow individuals to curve out such land for private use, and there should be no dispute on this position because those who encroach on road reserves must surely know that the Government will not allow individuals to acquire it for personal benefit. Accordingly, my Ministry is taking the following actions to protect and recover road reserves that have been encroached on at the Junction of Roads A2 and C71:- (i) Notifying all those who have put up buildings and other structures within the road reserve at the Kenol Trading Centre (Junction of A2 and C71) by marking all the affected buildings and structures. (ii) Issuing of public notices to the owners of such buildings or structures on the mentioned road reserve to demolish or relocate them. (iii) After the expiry of such notice, my Ministry reserves the right to remove any buildings or structures erected on the road reserve. (b) My Ministry will mark out the road reserve at this junction to demarcate the road corridor. I also appeal to members of the public who may not be sure of the road reserve boundaries to clear with my Ministry staff in their districts before putting up buildings and thus avoid costly demolitions."
