Today, the current Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Economic Planning is a nominee from the National Assembly and is a man. It is not only women who are nominated. In this House, we have Sen. Chimera and Sen. Mbugua who are nominated and are not women. I am also a nominated Senator. You cannot say that I got my nomination through a smile. I am beyond a smile."
