    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, as I said in my opening remarks, the Report contains the Mediation Committee on the National Rating Bill. The Committee held four meetings to consider the Clauses of the Bill that were under mediation and we arrived at a mediated version of the Bill. As I move this Motion, I would like to also applaud the objectivity that was observed in our meetings. The Committee is grateful to the Office of the Speaker, the Speakers and Clerks of both Houses of Parliament for the logistical and technical support that was accorded in the execution of its mandate. I would like to express my appreciation to Members of the Committee as constituted by the two Speakers, the Speaker of the National Assembly and the Hon. Speaker of the Senate, and the Committee Secretariat for their patience, sacrifice, endurance, and commitment to the assignment that we had, which enabled the Committee to complete this task within the stipulated time."
