Temporary Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, the Bill be amended by deleting Clause 1 and substituting therefor the following new Clause— “(1) This Act may be cited as the Community Health Promoters Act, 2022”. The amendment is necessary for purposes of alignment with the amendments proposed within the text of the Bill, which have adopted the use of the term “community health promoters” used in the Primary Health Care Act No.13 of 2023 instead of the term “community health workers.”"
