    "content": "Mr. Francis Wangara, submitted by Central Organization of Trade Unions. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I am seeking this Ministerial Statement in light of the resolution we passed yesterday, approving the appointment of the two Assistant Directors of the Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission. My information is that, as of now, six months after this House approved the names and were submitted by the Clerk of the Kenya National Assembly by a letter dated 24th February, 2009, in compliance to the provisions of the law that requires the President to gazette the names within 14 days, these names have not been submitted. Therefore, could the Minister tell us why those names have not been gazetted? Is this House acting in vain in sending other names to His Excellency the President to gazette, when he has not acted six months after this House approved the names of the members of the Kenya Anti-Corruption Advisory Board, simply because he may not like one person in the name of hon. Billow Kerrow?"
