Temporary Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, the Schedule to the Bill be amended as in the proposed amendments to the Copyright Act, Cap. 130− (h) by deleting the proposed amendment to section 46E. The justification is that the proposed new paragraph (h) providing for inspection of a collective management organisation by the Board at any time that the Board considers appropriate may be subject to abuse since the specific circumstances for inspection are already set out in Section 46E(6) of the Act. The Act already gives the Board the authority to inspect the accounts of collective management organisations. Therefore, it is not necessary to restate the same. I submit, Hon. Temporary Chairman."
