Temporary Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, the Schedule to the Bill be amended— (b) in the proposed amendments to Section 2 by inserting the following new definition in proper alphabetical sequence— “platinoid group” means metals that possess a silvery white colour except osmium, and includes ruthenium, rhodium, palladium, iridium, and platinum; Again, the justification is that the word 'platinoid group' has been used to define scrap. As such, it is proper for the word to be defined to clarify the types of metals that fall within the platinoid group."
