This is in light of the fact that the cost of electricity has a spiral effect on many other things, including the cost of living and basic commodities. Flagship projects that the Government has expressed itself to support, like manufacturing, trade and investment, are all tied up with the cost of electricity. This includes investor migration. Investors have been migrating to neighbouring countries because the cost of electricity is very high in Kenya"
