    "content": " Where no timelines are given, we expect it to be done within a reasonable period. There is no reason why the Justice and Legal Affairs Committee (JLAC) will not go back to the Prisons Department to ensure that we get timelines on when that harmonisation is likely to be completed to the benefit of the prison officers who are in service. In regard to their 5,000 houses that are under construction, we have estimated that they would be done in another three years. We possibly need money, expertise, planning, and other unforeseen issues. We have, however, stated that this will be done within three years for phase one, which has 5,000 houses. We will continue up to the time when about 40,000 prison officers will be accommodated. Thank you, Hon. Speaker."
