Temporary Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 8 of the Bill be amended in— (a) Sub-Clause (1) by inserting the words “The Chairperson and” immediately before the words “A member” appearing in paragraph (a); and, (b) Sub-Clause (2) by inserting the words “The Chairperson and” immediately before the words “the member”. It is my proposal that we amend Clause 8 as it appears on the Order Paper. The justification is that this Bill as proposed had omitted to provide for the criteria for the vacation from office of the chairperson of the board. The amendment seeks to provide a remedy for the same."
