Temporary Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 11 of the Bill be amended in subclause (1) by deleting the words \"the Kenya Bureau of Standards\" appearing in paragraph (j) and substituting therefor the words \"a body mandated by a national legislation to set standards.\" We will probably not have the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) in eternity. The standard architecture is also changing, and there could be other players. We should legislate for posterity."
