"content": " Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker. If I got it right, the question was not about provision of fertilisers. I come from a region that supplies meat to Nairobi and most parts of Kenya. Livestock farmers, especially those from Northern Kenya, are facing imminent drought. What is the Ministry planning to do, considering that we are expected to have failed short-rains, and our animals may die because of the drought? Instead of zeroing in so much on agricultural issues, the Cabinet Secretary should have given us a bit of history on livestock. What is the Ministry’s budget allocation for pastoral communities in northern Kenya?"
