    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Speaker, for granting me this opportunity. I rise to support the amendment to the Environment Management Control Act that has been introduced by the Member. I also speak as a member of the Committee. I must begin by saying that we will support the amendment because it provides a solution to the larger management of our environment. As a committee, we will also do so with amendments. It is important for everyone to know that we are amending Section 47 of the Act by empowering the Cabinet Secretary to come up with regulation that will maintain and protect.
