You are right that the NLC is independent, but you are expected to do what it takes to respond to our concerns. So, if you respond, it requires that you come with information that is in the custody of the NLC. I believe you should do so. You cannot then refuse to answer the question and then ask us to do otherwise. What we have done is what we believe is the right thing.
