If we can maintain the guaranteed minimum return on milk so that our farmers sell their produce at Ksh50 per litre, we will be empowering the people we have been talking about— mama mboga and the farmers of Kinangop, Nyandarua and across the country—by making sure that they get adequate return from their labour.
