(a) The Northern Water Services Board identified and prioritised three pans for construction/rehabilitation in Samburu East in the current financial year, 2008/2009. Lpus Dam is not one of the works whose contracts were awarded. Construction works for the three dams were awarded to two firms as follows: (i) Sileta Pan to Geocast Agencies of Nyahururu. (ii) Sordo Pan to Doch Company Limited of Maralal. (iii) Ngorok Pan to Geocast Agencies of Nyahururu. (b) The terms and scope of work in the contract are as follows:-"
