Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 30 of the Bill be amended by deleting subclause (2) and substituting therefor the following new subclause— Cap.485A “(2) A person shall not conduct the business of a coffee exchange, agent or offer brokerage services at the exchange unless that person is licensed by the Authority in accordance with the provisions of the Capital Markets Act”. The import of this amendment is to add the agent as one of those that will conduct the business of a coffee exchange."
