"content": " Hon. Speaker, it is true, and I appreciate that my Vice-Chairman is a local there. I will give him a chance to elaborate. I admit that we had a one-on-one meeting with Hon. (Prof.) Jaldesa, and the official position is that the place is gazetted as a disturbed area and it is closed. The rumour is that there are a lot of interests, and people are going there illegally to do mining. It is also good for the Member to be honest enough and point out that some local leadership in the area are interfering with the process. I am sure you are aware of that, and you appreciate. It is said that, that is one of the richest gold mines in the country. It is a treasure. I want to emphasise that it is not safe to open it until the facilities are provided and the risk is minimised so that we can avoid the unnecessary deaths of the locals. Having said that, I, kindly, ask my Vice-Chairman, who is a member of that community, to elaborate further."
