Temporary Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 155 of the Bill be amended— (a) in sub-clause 2: (i) by deleting the words' sub-sector,' appearing in paragraph (dd); (ii) by deleting the word “and” appearing immediately after the word “webinar;” on paragraph (kk) (iii) by inserting the following paragraph immediately after paragraph (kk) — “(kka) provide guidelines for affirmative action for the benefit of special interest groups of women, youths, persons with disabilities, and minority and marginalised communities in co- operatives.” The justification for this is to empower the Cabinet Secretary to prescribe affirmative action guidelines for the benefit of special interest groups of women, youths, persons with disabilities, and minority and marginalised communities in co-operatives in compliance with the Constitution."
