Temporary Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT Clause 4 of the Bill be amended in the proposed new Section 37F in subsection (1) by inserting the following paragraph immediately after paragraph (b)— “(ba) it is in public interest not to recover an unpaid tax” This makes it mandatory for the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) to ascertain that it is in the public interest to recover an unpaid tax."
