"content": "This is one of the issues that has been of great debate especially for tea, avocado and macadamia farmers. We are now exempting them from Electronic Tax Invoice Management System (eTIMS) and providing them with what we call reverse invoicing. The reason why we are talking about Ksh5 million is because it is also the Value Added Tax (VAT) threshold. So, we are putting them at the same VAT threshold like all the other VAT business so that those that have a turnover of less than Ksh5 million do not require to be integrated there. So, that sorts out the challenge we will have with tea, dairy, avocado and all those other farmers."
