Temporary Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 19 of the Bill be amended in the proposed new section 53 by- (a) inserting the words “and recovery” immediately after the word “lending” appearing in paragraph (a); (b) by inserting the following new section immediately after subsection (2)- “(2A) A non-deposit taking microfinance business shall comply with the requirements of Article 31 of the Constitution and the Data Protection Act in lending loans and recovery of debts.” The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
