Temporary Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 13 of the Bill be amended in paragraph (a) by inserting the following new paragraph immediately after paragraph (s)- (t) sale of scrap. The amendment seeks to introduce withholding tax in respect to payments made by a non-resident for the sale of scrap metal. It will achieve the objective of raising revenue for the country."
