I beg to move: THAT, Clause 15(b) of the Bill be amended– (a) in subparagraph (i) by− (i) by deleting subparagraph (w); (ii) by inserting the following sub-paragraph immediately after sub-paragraph (v)- (va) in respect of the sale of scrap, one and a half percent (1.5%) of the gross amount; (b) in sub-paragraph (ii) by deleting paragraph (A). This amendment is similar to what we have done above, that is, to retain the exemption of bonds from Income Tax to promote investments in the country, especially for green bonds which encourage conservation and protection of our environment."
