    "content": "(ea) by deleting the definition of “wife’s employment income rate”; I had explained this amendment earlier. For a very long time, the Income Tax Act required a husband to report even the income of the wife. However, we deleted that proposal last year. This amendment cleans it up further so that husbands are not required to declare the incomes of their wives in the Income Tax Act."
