"content": "This is because they feel the pulse of the nation and know what is good for the people. They know when and how to act. I have said in other public forums that I am very happy and comfortable as a Leader of the Majority Party. At the moment, I am not interested in any cabinet position. So, I am not saying this to campaign for any position. Hon. John Mbadi has midwifed the processing of these Bills, right from inception by sensitising members of the public. As you can remember, the Ministry of National Treasury and Economic Planning, Ministry of Environment and Forestry and the Ministry of Trade, Investment and Industry did public sensitisation. I must commend the other former politicians like Hon. Aden Duale, the Cabinet Secretary for Environment and Forestry, for doing a similar exercise. Also, the former Governor for Kwale County, who is the Cabinet Secretary for Trade and Industry, Hon. Salim Mvurya, who did a similar exercise that culminated into the Business Laws (Amendment) Bill that we have passed today."
