    "content": "The Committee proposed that such measures be taken and that the current laws should be looked into. If need be, we also need to craft a law which can protect our local traders. If we allow foreigners to hawk their products in our country and yet, they source their products directly from manufacturers in their countries, that will expose our local traders, forcing them out of business. We need to listen to our clients and take the necessary action. The best thing we can do is to re-evaluate our current laws and see how to improve them, so that they can protect our local traders. At the same time, we should not completely leave out foreign interests because we need everybody. However, as much as we need to incorporate everybody in our market and open doors to foreigners, we should not forget that we must, first, protect our people and their interests. If we fail to, first, look after their interests, we cannot do so for others. We have to protect our own first."
