    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Speaker. On behalf of the Chairman of the Departmental Committee on Health, I beg to move the following Motion: THAT, pursuant to provisions of Standing Order 120(1)(c), this House resolves to reduce the publication period of the Kenya Institute of Primate Research Bill (National Assembly Bill No. 52 of 2024) from 14 to nine days. This is a very important Bill dealing with the Primate Research Institute, which is doing a lot of work on primate research including on vaccines. It has been working without structures that we need to put in place. Also, on the need that we had all agreed we should fast-track some of these Bills, it would be necessary that we reduce the publication period so that even when we are on recess, the Committee can start to work on public participation and do research work The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
