I would like to remind you that, while you have made your remarks regarding this House, an important issue was raised some time ago by the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Finance and National Planning to the then presiding officer. That issue was then referred to you. It concerns how the two Houses are handling the cabinet secretaries. We realised that some cabinet secretaries cannot perform their duties well as they are frequently summoned by the Senate, even while they are fulfilling their constitutional responsibilities. I am still waiting for the Speaker’s ruling on this. How long should I wait?"
