As we break for recess, I requested for a statement on 18th of September pursuant to Standing Order 44(2)(c) to the Departmental Committee on Health on the status of payment of the last expense and death gratuity to survivors of the beneficiaries of the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) and Public Services Scheme. From 18th till up to now, I have not received any statement or clarification as far as that matter is concerned."
