    "content": "On the same note, I wish to clarify the current status of the community policing which was introduced by the Government on 27th April, 2005. On 27th April, 2007, community policing was officially launched in the country at Ruai Police Station in Nairobi by His Excellency the President of the Republic of Kenya. The main objective of community policing is to reduce crime and disorder in neighbourhoods by applying appropriate problem solving remedies. This was followed by the launch of the same in all police divisions across the county by the OCPDs in collaboration with the Provincial Administration."
