Boy Issa Juma, MP Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, this is a straight forward Motion. These are oversight committees on fiscal matters of various counties that oversee their audit report. The only challenge I want to inform the Members that serve in these committees is that there is a huge backlog of reports that this House needs to consider. I plead that they guide the House to dedicate certain days of the week to purely consider the various reports that they have considered as a committee, especially the recommendations they will be requesting us to adopt as a House. We want to see more far reaching recommendations on the conduct of our county governments on special funds or sharable revenue. Any funds that is public money so long as it has not been put in good use, I challenge that this committee guides us on how better we can hold our county governments accountable including sanctions against individuals that continue to perpetuate maleficent of public funds in various institutions. Therefore, I know that the men and women who have been granted the opportunity to serve in this committee will do an exemplary job and lead this House in fulfilling its mandate. With those very many remarks, I beg to move and request the Senator for Kilifi and the Senate Minority Leader Sen. Madzayo to second."
