    "content": "The budget-making process is one of the most critical roles of this House, and requires full and active participation of all Members. Therefore, this Procedural Motion seeks to extend the statutory timelines for consideration of the Budget Policy Statement by, at least, 14 days. This extension is necessary because the Committee on Selection has not yet finalised the nomination of Members to various committees, and the timeline for this Committee has lapsed. This Motion seeks to ensure that the Committee on Selection is constituted. As all are aware, the timelines for the Select Committees and the Budget and Appropriations Committee have also lapsed.
