    "content": "On the nutrition programme, the withdrawal of funding has disrupted the supply of life-saving nutrition commodities, including therapeutic foods used to treat severe acute malnutrition in children under five. Counties with high rates of malnutrition such as Marsabit, Samburu, Kitui and Baringo, are particularly affected, putting thousands of vulnerable children at risk of severe health complications. Without urgent intervention, malnutrition-related deaths could increase, exacerbating the already critical burden of food insecurity in drought-affected regions."
